Somehow I got it in my head today that I wanted to give blood. With 87 days of kindness it hadn’t crossed my mind to give blood until today. So, I called and set up an appointment for the blood drive at Merrimack College on February 10th. I haven’t given blood since high school, so I’m happy I thought to do this. It’s been too long!
I also made cookies tonight to bring to a dinner party tomorrow night.
Happy almost Friday!

The gift of life! Good for you Coll. Godbless.
Thanks for giving blood! It’s so important. When I was sick, I received 10 transfusions, so I am a big proponent of blood donations. I’m not allowed to donate myself anymore, so I constantly encourage others to do so.
Perhaps for another day of kindness, you could consider signing up for the >a href=”http://www.marrow.org/”>Be The Match bone marrow registry. It’s only a swab of your cheek cells. A lot of people don’t sign up because they falsely believe it’s much more difficult to do so.
Thanks Amanda! I’m going Thursday, so hopefully it goes well! And I will definitely look into the bone marrow. I’ve thought about it before, but not quite sure why I haven’t done it yet. Thanks for the suggestion. Hope all is well xoxo.
