I’ve always thought ‘craic’ was a funny word, I love when my cousins in Ireland say it. ‘The craic’ has different meanings to different people. To me, it means having fun, enjoyment, good times with good people, the different goings on around you. I try to use it in my everyday life but people usually just get confused, so here I am getting the word out there. It’s pronounced ‘crack’ (as in cocaine) so be careful when using it in public.
There are opportunities all around us, at every moment. I believe we should live our lives to their best potential every single day; we should challenge ourselves, put ourselves out there and always be on the look out for new ways to have fun, to be entertained and to keep ourselves healthy and happy. I wanted to start this blog because I love looking for new restaurants to try, good happy hour deals, fun concerts, etc. I’m originally from New York; I went to college in the greater Boston area and after graduating I moved to Chicago for a year to serve as a full-time volunteer. After Chicago I wasn’t sure which location I would land in. Ultimately Boston it was, and Boston it is. I’m back in the area hoping to find some good ‘craic’ so that I may be able to pass it along to you. I appreciate you reading, enjoy!

Colleen
