2nd Annual Chili Cup

Happy President’s Day — if you had the day off, I hope you enjoyed it!

Last Thursday I got the chance to attend the 2nd Annual Chili Cup at Ned Devines, and let me tell you… it was (in a word) divine! I tried most of the chili’s there, but I must say my top three favorites were:

1. Ned Devine’s (ummmmm cheese balls/corn bread addition was amazing)

2. Clery’s (traditional chili, very tasty)

3. The Baseball Tavern (a little spicier than the others which I liked)

Ultimately, the Baseball Tavern took home the trophy, so congratulations to them!

I went with my friend Nicole who I haven’t seen in a while so it was so nice to catch up with her while enjoying our chili. It was also great to see Hannah from the Briar Group as well as the lovely ladies from We Are Not Martha. Such a fun evening all around.

This Thursday is the 2nd Annual Chili Cup at Ned Devine’s (find your host, Ned Devine’s on Facebook and Twitter) from 6:00-10:00pm. Don’t miss out on the VIP hour from 6:00-7:00 featuring Jose Cuervo and Corona.

I’m pretty pumped about this; anything involving chili is more than fine by me! There will be live music, prizes, and all-you-can-eat chili (ummm, amazing). Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Proceeds will benefit Community Work Services of Boston. Eating chili for a good cause? Sign me the heck up mutha!
