Tonight I’ll be attending the Harris Center’s 2010 Public Forum held in the Burden Auditorium at the Harvard Business School at 6pm. The Harris Center at Massachusetts General Hospital is ‘dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with eating disorders.’ The forum topic is Health Matters: Weight and Wellness in the World of Fashion. The guest speakers are Anna Wintour, Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Magazine, Michael Kors, American fashion designer as well as a judge on Lifetime TV’s Project Runway, and Natalia Vodianova, a Russian model and Philanthropist. I am thrilled to be able to go – I was originally on the wait list for this but recently received confirmation of my attendance. I’m sure I will have a lot to say about this tomorrow…
Also, Thursday a few of my girl friends and I are going to the Shecky’s Girls Night Out event at Cyclorama – 539 Tremont Street – Thursday 5-10pm. They are also holding this event Wednesday as well as Friday, however I believe Friday is SOLD OUT. I’ve never been to one of these, but they sound fun! They showcase new Spring trends, new beauty regiments, beer & cocktails (with ticket) and goodie bags.

Some big news today is that President Obama will be signing the $875 billion healthcare reform bill at The White House tomorrow morning. Some people are over-the-moon happy and some people are beyond pissed.
I’m very interested in what everyone thinks about this. Have an opinion? Email me at email@example.com and I will feature some answers later this week.
On a different note, apparently a woman in Hooksett, N.H. was attacked by a man wearing only a G-string and a mask. Pretty creative and heinous all at the same time. I’ll probably have nightmares about this tonight, it sounds even scarier than a Komodo Dragon.
I hope everyone is having a great day thus far :)
